かわいいので大好きな海の仲間。狭いところに「むぎゅっ」と潜り込んでこっちを向いていました。私がいるから出てこれなかったかもしれません・・・・
この写真は月刊ダイバーの「２０１１　みんカレ」（みんなで作るカレンダー）に採用されました。

This is one of my favorite underwater creatures. This one has sqeezed into anemone, which may be because of me...I may have blocked its way.... This picture is used for this year's calender developed by underwater magazine.

イシガキカエルウオ、笑っているみたいなので大好きです。まるでお花畑にいるみたい！と思いながら写真を撮りました。現実逃避したい時にはこのスマイルを見て癒されます。

This is one of my faorite underwater　creatures, White-potted olive blenny. It looks like it is smiling to me in the flower garden. I like to see this smile especially when I want to escape from busy days ：-）

１２月になったけれど、まだ紅葉も楽しめていつもと違いますね。以前は「海は夏に行くところ」と思っていましたが、「夏じゃなくても楽しめるところ」と変わってきました。陸の寒ささえ我慢できれば･･
写真のペアはかわいくて、見入ってしまいました・・・あちらもこっちを見てますね。

It is already December and supposed to be cold. However, this year is unusual, seeing autumn leaves in red/yellow colors. For me, sea used to be the place to enjoy during summer. Nowdays, it is the place to enjoy throughout the year, as long as I can tolerate cold weather on land.
Aren't these pair cute?　I could not stop looking at them　：－） and they kept lookng at me!

先日仲間と雑談中、 'It takes two to tango'のフレーズが出てきて、この写真のシーンが浮かびました。直訳すれば、‘2人いないと踊れない’、でしょうか。クリーニングされてる魚の表情はリラックス、マッサージを受けている私たちの気持ちとおんなじかな・・・といつも思います。

I was talking with colleagues the other day, and the phrase 'It takes two to tango' was repeated. That reminds me of this picture ;-) 　Whenever I see fish being cleaned by cleaning fish, I see the fish is relaxed. It may be the same feeling when we get massage :-)

もうすぐ10月、朝晩はかなり涼しくなってきましたね。今年は強い日差しの中でのダイビングをあまりしていないので、まだまだ夏の海を楽しみたいのに・・・・
夏の海、水面から青い空と白い雲が見えるこんなシーンに出会った時は、ずっと上を向いていたくなります♪

October is around the corner. Temperature is getting lower especially in the early morning & evening.
I only had a few sunny diving days this summer・・・・not enough! 　I cannot keep looking up when I encounter this kind of scene with blue sky and a bit of white clouds, and the fish! It is perfect :-)

せっかく出会っても、その時持っているレンズがワイドだったりしてなかなか撮れなかったかわいいキンチャクガニ。今シーズン、やっと撮れました。
ご存じない方のために・・・キンチャクガニは大きくても数センチ、ハサミに持っているのはイソギンチャクでボンボンを持ったチアリーダーのよう。敵が来たときにこで威嚇するそうです。英語ではboxer crab あるいは pom-pomcrab。その名前もかわいい♪
来シーズンはアーティスティックに撮りたい。

I have been missing a chance to take picture of boxer crab or pom-pom crab. Whenever I met them, but I had wrong lense to take picture of them.　　This season, I was able to take them :-)
For those who do not know boxer crab, its size is up to only couple of centimeters. It is named boxer after anemones they hold in its pincer, which is used to protect themselves. Or it looks like cheer leader holding pom-pom.
I would like to take artistic picture of them in the next season.

魚達の表情にも変化があって、観察してるとおもしろい☆これは受け口っぽくて思わず微笑んだ。
I enjoy observing　fish as its expression changes. I smiled when I took this picture・・・the fish was trying to catch or release something and I particulary like its mouth :-)

２００８年地球の海フォトコンテスト・自由部門入賞作品をアップします。なんといっても色が印象的だったので「彩」というタイトルをつけました。

I got the prize in 2008 Underwater Photo Contest for 3 sections. I personally like this one the best, titiled 'Color Scheme', as color is so impressive.
